I love the line “Prove me wrong” Some ideas are dismissed out of hand without knowing their value.

Cloud computing seems good as long as one has internet. For some applications that are mission critical I prefer on site hardware and IT support.

One benifit of NMCI is standadization. People going from one place to another do not have to relearn software. Three good examples are TCP/IP, IBM VM os and UNIX/LINUX. Adhear to your standard and incoporate new stuff.

Virtulization is not bad. Look at the internt. All the info is somewhere else. (scary huh?)
