The SaferBus App allows users to access real time bus safety performance information from the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. According to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, SaferBus:
Provides the general public an efficient way to view and access the safety performance of commercial motor carriers including motor coach and bus companies.
The app, which is available on the iOS platform, is an extension of the agency’s mission to improve motor carrier safety by providing user’s information about carrier’s performance.
