Join INPUT's teaming seminar on one of the highly anticipated DoD opportunities of FY 2010 for a first look on the latest comprehensive overview, gain fresh perspectives on news and issues from INPUT experts, and network with potential partners. The event will include a “speed dating” round — an opportunity for businesses and service providers to meet with large and small prime contractor candidates to discuss NGEN opportunities and fulfill your proposal needs.
About the NGEN opportunity:
The Department of the Navy (DON) Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) has a requirement for Next Generation Enterprise Networks (NGEN), the follow-up effort for today’s Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) contract that ensures continuity of the service for FY 2011 and beyond.
DON intends to make an incremental transition to NGEN. By September 2010, DON envisions one or more contractors and government agencies providing the same services under NMCI. DON anticipates that NGEN will have improved capabilities implemented through a block approach beyond 2010 as requirements are developed and approved.
