Do You Think the STOCK Act Will Have a Significant Impact on Curbing the Questionable Practices of Our Legislators?

I don't.  The House and Senate have both overwhelmingly passed what I see as self-serving bills which create the illusion that they are now policing themselves. Everyone jumped on the bandwagon of political correctness on this one - an immediate red flag that this is a political expediency. There are still far too many loopholes. I am retired but as a contracting official if I or my colleagues did things during our careers that our legislators are legally allowed to do a US Marshal would have long since taken us out in cuffs.   www.thegovernmentman.com
