JOB: Public Health Officer, El Dorado, CA

Job Description:

Typical duties for this position may include, but are not limited to:

- Carrying out legal mandates of Heath and Safety code, acting as medical liaison to medical care systems and coordinating development of sound public health activities.

- Coordinating implementation of Public Health activities; acting as the designated Vital Statistics Registrar; participating in public health emergency mobilization; providing training, public presentations, education, consultation and policy development.

- Providing medical direction and evaluation to laboratory and clinical care services directly or through delegation; providing direct clinical care when applicable; participating in department service QA activity.
