Announcing a new, two-year paid post-graduate fellowship opportunity for students with substantial academic and/or work experience in technology-related fields. The White House CIO Council Technology Fellows Program partners with the Presidential Management Fellowship and all PMF
finalists will are eligible for the Tech Fellows program.
The Tech Fellows Program aims to cut bureaucratic barriers to entering
public service and provide access to unique career opportunities in
Federal Agencies to highly talented technology professionals. Tech
Fellows will be run as part of the PMF Program and follow the same
application and selection processes.
As the deadline for applications – September 25 – is fast
approaching, I hope you will take a few steps to help get this message
out to potential applicants and other interested parties:
· Forward this message to contacts at your alma mater (e.g.
relevant academic departments, professors, students)
· Reach out to your alma mater's PMF nomination official
(Dean, Chairperson, or Academic Program Director) to help raise
awareness
· Post this opportunity to your Facebook page and other social
networking sites
Additionally, candidates must be nominated by their school's
nomination official by September 30, 2011.
