DAU is an amazing place. It is a diverse learning organization with 15 career fields. Our practitioner-instructor experience is tremendous, and our School for Program Managers is excellent. Most Level One courses are online, Level 2 blended and Level 3 in class. Bottom line: We delivered 12.5 MILLION hours of seat time last year and its a great place to work!

To all,

I recently joined the group and happy to have done so.

I am not a federal employee, but becoming one, preferably in the national security area is my goal.

After using all three in a professional setting for a few years, I think these are some general notes that can help new government contract specialists. 3 Negotiation Methods

Katherine Radican at GPO wants to know if the DAU employees maintaining the DoD guidebooks (like DAG and IP Guide) want help reformatting the PDFs as free ebooks for the public. If so, email her at She says she'll point you in the right direction. Here's the original post (scroll down to find her comment).

I'm curious about DAU employees' opinions on this: is Qwiki a good way to learn contract law?

Thanks Alvin. That little misspelling negatively affects the image of DAU.

Sterling - thanks for pointing out the misspelling.  I've informed our webmaster and asked him to correct it.

DAU: Check the home carousel. The "LearningElite" section has been misspelled "LearningEllite" for three days. That doesn't look good and the irony isn't lost.

Thanks for the correction, Colby.  Obvious PEBKAC error :)

@Alvin. Thanks for the information. The link you provide doesn't seem to work for me. Is it a dead link or is it just me?
