Looking for Searchable Contract Award Databases

I am researching the identity of contractors in the DC area who have been awarded civilian agency or DoD contracts in the past 12 months dealing with collaboration technologies including design or operation of interactive websites or intranet sites, agency and inter-agency social networking, or SharePoint implementation. One source for contract awards I've found is https://www.fpds.gov. Are there other public sources available? I'm an independent consultant so minimizing out of pocket costs is a consideration for using such services.

In addition to FedSpending, you might also try Acquisition Central (https://www.acquisition.gov/index.asp). It's more portal than exactly what you're looking for, but it has most federal agency contracting links.

I also have discovered it is possible to search FedBizOpps for awarded contracts. Not sure how complete that is though.
