@Joe, have you considered sending questions to email address rather than texting? I would assume that most users with texting capability also have emailing capability. This would also eliminate the 140 char limit.

If I'm organizing a conference, how would I set up the ability for participants to text questions from their mobile phones without having to be a member of twitter or chatter or whatever else? I saw this done at the FDR Conference in Atlanta this past August but can't seem to figure out how to do this. Any suggestions?
