Which do you more like: online or in-person acquisition training?

I have a preference for in-person.

It depends on my reason for taking the training and the subject matter.  For refresher topics, like management theory or writing specifications, online is great.  Even a new topic that I want intro-level knowledge on works for me through online.  I'm a bit impatient and like to move at my pace.  Online allows that.  I would also rather take advantage of online training versus no training when travel budgets are non-existant.

However, I think face-to-face training is here to stay.  There is extreme value in getting away and immersing yourself in a topic for a day or two, or three.

So, I'll take both, please!

Agree - depends on subject matter.

If it is going to be really good training and move at a good pace, definitely in-person.  If you are just going to read the material from the book and have only an "okay" instructor, online

I certainly enjoy teaching federal acquisition courses in person, as the interaction and experiences shared by the students are valuable training tools for the other participants. Online courses are great for shorter, high-level courses that cover general subjects and refresher training.

All of my in-person training is being canceled lately because we're too short-handed for me to be out of the office very long. Therefore, I'll have to say that I prefer online training since I can complete it on my own time AND it appears to be the only training I'll be allowed to take for quite a while.

I prefer in-person acquisition training. However, I did not enjoy the CON 090 in-person course.
