SBA Small Business Thresholds for A & E firms

I'm sure SBA will receive many comments.  I was giving a presentation at a pre-proposal conference on Monday and two A & E firms that I talked to said they were very happy that SBA was increasing the size standard.  Both were relatively small (10 and 8 employees) but both were over the size standard, $5 Million and $6million respectively.  Both said they were feeling terribly squeezed because they didn't feel they could compete with large firms, but also couldn't qualify for small business set asides.  Two sides to every story.  I'll be interested to see how many comments SBA gets on the size standards increase.
