You'd be considered for the Fall 2012 cohort. Ping me at andrew@govloop.com if you have questions or other ideas.

Hello. I am currently a human resources contractor with the Department of Navy and am looking for a mentor to help me make the transition to the public sector or out of human resources into other areas.

Interesting question - Would you spend 20% of your time as a mentor? http://www.govloop.com/forum/topics/semi-retiring-boomers-would-you...

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for a mentor that is able to help me enter the public sector (preferably federal).  I am currently employed in sales in the private sector, but I would desperately like to change careers. I appreciate any feedback or suggestions you may have. Thanks!

I have a couple of short articles about mentoring and training mentors that may be of interest to the group: http://managementhelp.org/blogs/training-and-development/2011/05/24... and http://managementhelp.org/blogs/training-and-development/2011/03/24....

For those of you who are mentors or interested in finding one, here's some great advice on getting started with a new mentoring relationship:
