Are there any other federal agencies who are looking to improve the quality of locational data as it's being collected, specifically through the use of front-end validation tools, to parse and verify locatons as they are entered?  There currently are a fair number of good tools available for handling street addresses, but it gets trickier for other types of locations, such as PLSS aliquot/section/township/range, or linear, relative and other types of references such as "13.3 KM east of Mayaguez" or "15 miles northwest of Gunstock, WY" - and before I head down the path of building out capability, I was curious how others currently deal with those types of situations.
