Master’s candidates in public administration, public policy, and other related disciplines are invited to submit proposals for consideration in the 4th Annual MaryKathryn Kubat Award for graduate student research. Students will have the opportunity to discuss and present their research and a chance to win a $1,000 prize. All finalists will enjoy free admission to the symposium and recognition on the AABPA website. For more information go to http://www.aabpa.org/graduate-student-research-competition.

NASPAA is seeking an MPA/MPP student for a paid summer internship, working on communications and outreach.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled!

15 Finalists have been selected for the GovLoop/NASPAA Graduate Public Service Scholarship essay contest.  It's now up to GL members to read the essays and vote to select the 3 winners!  Deadline is Wed, Nov. 23 at 3pm ET.

The GovLoop / NASPAA Graduate Public Service Scholarship essay contest is now open!  Current students in MPA, MPP, and related fields are eligible for one of three awards.  The deadline is Oct. 31.

NASPAA has released its annual list of accredited master's programs in public administration, public policy, and public affairs.

The Senate hearring on "Inspiring Students to Federal Service" is next  Tuesday, June 21, at 2:30pm.

 

Witnesses will include representatives from the Partnership for Public Service, NASPAA, Teach for America, GAO, and the Deputy Director of OPM.
