So with Valentine's Day around the corner, what are your suggestions for a Restaurant for a Special Occasion?

We went to Willow in Ballston last night to celebrate Valentine's Day to beat the rush. Always an enjoyable meal with many special gourmet touches.

My other Argia's - Falls Church, Lebanese Taverna - Arlington and Restaurant at Patowmack Farms?

What are yours?

The last time we went to Willow was during Restaurant Week last summer. We had the wine flight with each course. While she was serving my wife the waitress tipped the tray and the remaining three glasses of red pitched down unto my shoulder and slacks. They were very good about it, but that did make it memorable (grin).

We like Clyde's, the Alexandria location, but any would be good. Or one of the Great American Restaurants (Carlyle, Sweet Water Tavern, Artie's, etc.). I would say Copeland's or Le Galois, but alas! they are gone.
Has anyone been to Chima's(?) in Tysons? I have read about it but not gone.
Yesterday, I had lunch with a friend at DC Coast...if you are looking for good seafood, this one should be one that you check out.

Are there other good seafood restaurants (in addition to Kinkaid's and Legal) in the area that are recommended by the group? (My nephew loves seafood get together with him for seafood as often as we can!)
My wife and I have eaten at a wide variety of restaurants in the DC area but no place beats 2941 for consistently high quality food and service. We always get a tasting menu with wine pairings. We have had tasting menus with pairings at other fine restaurants but none has given such gustatory pleasure as we received at 2941. If you want to go all out, try the kitchen table. That is an experience to be treasured.
