I can recall plots of TV shows back to the 1960's when I first became sentient.  These are the chestnut plots I've seen used by many, MANY shows.  What are some of yours? 1. Hero goes blind…Continue

NOTHING can beat "24".... Matt Damion is a close second with the Bourne Identity series. My wife and I have settled with USA's Burn Notice, White Collar, & Covert Affairs.  But we would jump at the opportuity to see "Jack" and the "24" gang BACK!

TV is the only way the public "sees" it's government.  If they had a government-based cartoon show a great many more people would be interested in government.  Of course they'd think the congress was led by an animated sea sponge...

Funny...was walking by White House today and love how half the t-shirts sold outside are for government TV shows like NCIS....

I just bought a dvd set of Captain Gallant of the Foreign Legion.  I don't know if any of you remember this one.  I used to watch reruns of it with my dad when I was VERY young.  It starred Buster Crabbe, more famous for Tarzan and Flash Gordon, near the end of his career in the 1950's.  It was filmed on location in French Morocco.  Half hour drama, so fairly simple plots, but interesting.  I still could whistle the theme song after all these years.  Anyone else finding childhood favorites in the dvd bargain bins?

Breaking Bad and Mad Men are both DAMN good television.

Guilty pleasures (though also good):  Fringe, Glee, formulaic USA Network shows (Burn Notice, Royal Pains)
