Comment by Carla Briceno on February 4, 2011 at 8:40pm Please also feel free to join us the first in an ongoing series of meetups we're going to have on the important topic of using the internet, social media and mobile to reach the growing Hispanic Community: http://www.meetup.com/reachinglatinosonline/events/16152142/
On February 15th, we'll have an informal panel with the team from AARP en español talking about their online efforts.
If you are currently involved in reaching out to the Hispanic community, we'd love to have you present at a future meetup! If you're interested in getting feedback on your ideas and / would like to network, this will be a good forum to do so.
Thank you,
Carla

In response to Carla's post, I am passing along a note about a webinar from Google on connecting with Hispanics online:

GovLoop is the "Knowledge Network for Government" - the premier social network connecting over 60,000 federal, state, and local government innovators.
A great resource to connect with peers, share best practices, and find career-building opportunities.
