Joanne,
You might want to have a conversation with the HHS Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ, www.ahrq.gov). They have done a number of campaigns with the Ad Council. Good luck.

The White House is pushing agencies toward better customer service. See article at http://www.federalnewsradio.com/?nid=35&sid=1921036

Our program, child support, used the Ad Council years ago but I wasn't involved. Thanks for the link. It would be great to be able to use them again.

Thanks for the invite to join the group. My name is Joanne and I work within the web side of our public affairs office at the FDA. I'm a big believer in marketing (my background is in online marketing) and I'd love to help to spread awareness about what we are doing including the promotion of our social media channels. Does anyone know how to connect with a group like the ad council - http://www.adcouncil.org?

A colleague of mine found this study by Deloitte about use of social media. Thought you might be interested.

Help each other out? I'm always looking to see who's doing what in the OPDIVs. It's great when we don't have to "recreate the wheel" here at HQs, especially when one of our OPDIVs have already done the research, or completed a project similar to our needs. I'm in Human Capital here in OHR and looking forward to what's ahead - it's an exciting time to be at HHS!

Now that we have a gang of 24, how can we help each other out? Some of us, like me, are just learning and others seem to be experts. Could we identify areas of interest and expertise and see where we match up?

Thanks for the invitation to join Eileen. Looking forward to connecting with fellow HHSers - or is it HHSians - or it it HHSites - I think I like HHSers. There's a topic for discussion.

Kathryn, I looked at my notes from the Facebook webinar on the 12th and I really don't have any questions right now. Probably will when and if we decide to try for a Facebook page!
