Last week, the White House lauched "We the People", a new e-petition service:

A team of folks from AmericaSpeaks, Deliberative Democracy Consortium (DDC), NCDD and IAP2 USA are working on a collective response from the American participation and deliberative democracy communities. We'd like to evaluate this new offering and provide guidance how to improve it further.

We’ve set up a Uservoice forum to aggregate our ideas. We invite you to check out the site and then offer your ideas as well:
