GovLoop - Social Network for Government

Over several years US Federal Agencies have  highly adopted SharePoint as a platform to address numerous enterprise needs.  SharePoint 2010 has significant features and capabilities that are tightly integrated in areas of Collaboration, Enterprise Content Management, Enterprise Search, Business Intelligence, Social Computing, Enterprise Applications and Systems Integration to name a few.

The first Gov to Gov event was in April 2011 in which we had USDA Records Management, Treasury.gov and Microsoft Telework.  The event was a success with 27 US Federal Agencies attending.  We are happy to have this event again this time sponsored with the Federal SharePoint
Users Group (FEDSPUG - www.fedspug.org).

International Monitory Fund (IMF) Enterprise Search and Knowledge Management

Join this session to learn how the International Monetary Fund implemented FAST Search for SharePoint 2010 as their enterprise search solution to provide world leading Economists with
instant and precise access to critical information they need, delivered in a fashion that enables them to take specific actions. The IMF will also explain the construction of The Knowledge Exchange (KE), a search-driven application, which provides staff with a facility to locate and share important country
