At home, I use Archlinux with KDE4 as my primary DE and awesome from time to time.

The non-development apps I like/use are mostly all part of KDE:

I wish I had a more work-related list but in the office I'm stuck with WinXP (and IE6, no less!). Although I did install Cygwin for CLI goodies such as sed, grep, sort, uniq, etc.
