Good morning ,all. Any MHS elements or related agencies considering purchasing iPads for staff use? Maybe the first question ought to be, is there some reason we can't but iPads? And if you were to buy them, would it be the 3g version? Curious to hear whether anyone is moving in this direction. Have a great week, everyone.

Greetings, MHS folks!

I wanted to offer a few links to information about the 'Wounded in Action' exhibit that starts here at NMHM in two weeks but this week only is on display in the Rotunda at the Russell Senate Office Building downtown. If you are anywhere near the Hill between now and Friday morning, please consider stopping in there to check out the exhibit.

Exhibit information is online at http://www.woundedinactionart.org/exhibits.php. Make sure you check out the online presentation there of the artworks that are in the show.

Our release about the exhibit for when it comes here (and half of the show will be in Baltimore concurrently) is http://nmhm.washingtondc.museum/news/wounded_in_action.html.

Let me know any questions, hope everyone will get the chance to see the exhibit, whether its on the Hill this week or here at NMHM or in Baltimore next month.

Good morning, MHS! Hope everyone has a great weekend.

We're ready to start spreading the word about a powerful new exhibit coming to NMHM in DC and the University of Maryland Baltimore next month.

The exhibition is brought to us by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is titled "Wounded in Action: An Art Exhibition of Orthopaedic Advancements."

We've just published a news release about the new exhibit to our Web site at http://nmhm.washingtondc.museum/news/wounded_in_action.html but wanted to share the news directly with the MHS crowd as soon as possible. Take a look and help us spread the word.

Wounded in Action is on Facebook and there is a great Web site at http://www.woundedinactionart.org/.

Thanks, everyone.

Hi, everyone. Another update about Brain Awareness Week (our way of honoring Brain Injury Awareness Month) - we've launched a FB page http://bit.ly/dwsvzJ that will serve as year-round home for the Museum's broad interests in the brain and neurosciences. And to go along with the new Fan Page, we've started @BrainMuseum to help share all these goings-on and other resources. Please help us spread the word about these new offerings from the Museum.

Hey, everyone. Just an update on goings on here at the Museum (that's @medicalmuseum, I know you want to follow us...)

We're honoring Brain Injury Awareness Month with our own 11th annual Brain Awareness Week 15-19 March. Check out the BAW Hub at http://bit.ly/ds5FUg. We'll be tweeting and updating the FB page with goings-on during the entire week.

It's also Women's History Month so we're spotlighting that with a one-act play about the story of Elizabeth Blackwell, America's first woman doctor. More about the play here http://bit.ly/bW727z. The play is at 1pm on Sat., March 27 here at the Museum. It's free but seating is limited. There's lots of details in the news release.

One other note: we're on FB at http://www.facebook.com/MedicalMuseum. We're trying to make an active effort to offer 'favorite pages' especially of other MHS pages. If we've not favorited your organization's page already, forgive the oversight and let me know, we'll get that fixed up.

Hope everyone is well.
