I am a conference producer at the Advanced Learning Institute and I am currently planning an updated version of our long-standing conferences in the area of government performance, specifically regarding the recently-passed Government Performance and Results Modernization Act of 2010. It’ll be in Washington, DC on June 20-23, 2011.
I’m in the research stage of planning this conference and to ensure that I’m going in the right direction regarding this topic, I have a few questions I'm looking to have answered.
1. Are meeting the requirements of this new Act a priority for (federal) government agencies?
2. What are a few of the “must cover” topics this conference will need to focus on to be a success?
3. Do you know of any other conferences or websites that focus on this Act that I should look into?
4. Do you have any suggestions as to what the overall theme should be of this conference, the most important element pertaining to the changes that government agencies will now need to make?
5. Would you be interested in participating as a speaker at this event?
In addition to including many of our excellent speakers from past events, I’m hoping to include some new case studies on successful efforts in government organizations. Any referrals are always appreciated!
