What is our Gov 2.0 future?

This group is an outreach activity for the Gov 2.0 future project, hosted at

It seeks to collect views on Australia’s Government 2.0 future – what will it look like in 20 years time. Selected contributions will be compiled into a book, to be published under a Creative Commons license.

This book, and the website, will aid policy makers, politicians and public servants, in planning their Government 2.0 strategies.

While the website and book are being developed for an Australian audience, we believe there is a global need for the perspectives it will contain. Around the world governments are introducing Government 2.0 tools and techniques, yet few are considering the potential long-term impacts of their decisions and choices.

So we ask you to look forward up to 20 years into the future, considering three questions:

- What does Government 2.0 mean for governance?
- How will Government 2.0 change the culture and practice of public servants and governments?
- What will our Government 2.0 future look like?

Craig, I'm working on an English translation of my books, but they won't be finished until the beginning of next year.

Until then, use Google Translate ;-)
