Calling all Federal leaders!

You don't need to be inside the beltway to benefit from this webinar specifically for Federal leaders: Closing the Supervisory Skills Gap: A How-To for Federal Leaders. It will be broadcast on December 7th at 1pm.

How is Learning & Development transforming the federal government?
Government Elearning! Magazine is hosting a survey with partner Bersin & Associates (Authors of the Corporate Learning Factbook.) We would welcome your input on this study on L&D today. We will share results with you and present at the Summit in DC on 3/22/11. Take a moment to share your views at: https://www.evansresearchonline.com/s.php?s=FACTGE&d=2

Having lived in and worked around the Beltway for about three years, I have a deep appreciation for those who still do that on a daily basis, especially folks with highly stressful and demanding jobs at places like the Pentagon (Puzzle Palace) and others (too many to name).

I am definitely way outside the beltway. I am in Seattle, Wa. and I work from home two days a week. Most of the time it feels like the beltway folks don't even know we exist, which is fine with me.

Not that far from me Jane. I'm just halfway up the state. Although I'm wondering if I have to surrender my membership since I've got a month-long detail at HQ coming up in a few weeks.

I'm about as far away as you can get from the beltway and still be in the continental US - out in southern California a stone's throw from the ocean.

How many of us are so far outside the Beltway that we're west of the Mississippi River? I am in St. Louis.

For those of us outside the Beltway, it has been very nice not having the D.C folks around the last few (snow) days. :-)
