GovLoop - Social Network for Government

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Office of Surveillance, Epidemiology and Laboratory Services (OSELS) is spearheading a new hybrid conference pilot (part in-person and part virtual event) for 2011 - the Public Health Informatics 2011 Virtual Conference (PHIVC). CDC, in partnership with the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), is offering the conference free of charge to partners and govies. Attendees can experience activities and events, simultaneously during the in-person Public Health Informatics (PHI) 2011 conference, (in-person event), being held in Atlanta, Georgia. Virtual booth exhibitors and sponsors have until 07/29/2011 to send in their digital assets for inclusion.

Be on the lookout for further event information, as I plan to reach out to several of you for your advice, collaboration and cross-coordination. Check out the PHIVC event posting here for further information on the Virtual Conference. I have many open volunteer positions, as I am crowd-sourcing most of the work. Let me know if you're interested in helping out.

Thanks!
