Innovation in Government: Looking back to look ahead

Hello!Though "Innovation" actually is in my job title, I do not think that I have the corner on what exactly "counts" as innovation, and I am as excited as anyone when new materials are released about the hows and wherefores of innovation in government. So I am very happy to share that my organization has released a new report that looks back at three decades of innovation-in-government awards and culls quite a few lessons in how to innovate--both for innovators themselves as well as for their…See More

5 Lessons for Government from SxSW

The argument has been made (and made and made) that SxSW is So Over ™.  Respectfully, I disagree.  It is certainly a corporate event—witness Samsung offering to bring a free, charged battery to anyone whose Samsung device is running low—but that doesn’t mean that governments agencies, whether local, state, or federal, should skip out.  Indeed, here are only five things that I…See More

Can you tell me how to get out of some of the groups I've joined? I don't think I see things in the right format. Everything just lines up on the left. I can find the group and open the group, but see no place to 'unjoin' the group :(
thanks!

Thank you for your kind comment. Which conference is the one in February? I have to admit, I am kinda behind on scheduling for 2011. I am building a house and expect to move in in March as well as actively looking for a new career (was exploring Government or Executive Management). I have been applying for my dream positions and crossing my fingers one comes through before the end of the year.
