The portal on HealthCare.gov shows ALL the insurance options particular to your area and situation in addition to the private insurance options. Esurance (and other online health insurance portals) only provide options for purchasing private insurance on the open market. They do not tell you about options that are NOT available on the private market. These include Medicaid, State Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), COBRA, public clinics, and others.
