Hey Apple What Are We .gov Folks Chopped Livah?

Dear Apple,

The iPad is a great device, BUT that virtual keyboard has a glaring omission. The ".com" key, when held, pops up a very cool short cut for other top level domains: .net .org .com .us .edu  but hey no .gov!! Totally annoying and doesn't help people when trying to find useful .gov websites. Would really appreciate if you fix this short coming. Thanks!

Appropriately annoyed I thought...but I can do hostile if you like!  ;-)

Maybe a little hostile?

Things like this drive me crazy. I've noticed a similar problem elsewhere though I don't recall exactly what it was. I'm surprised this isn't a Windows Phone issue, I noticed they like to leave out the obvious. As Chris said, good call and hopefully someone at Apple "hears" your call to action!

Good catch on this. Those domain shortcuts are pretty useful.
