While the White House encouraged agencies to consult with outside stakeholders before, during and after the creation of 2.0 plans, the civil society team only met with half a dozen agencies out of the 40 updating their Open Government Plans. http://www.openthegovernment.org/node/3925

The first eight countries up for reporting will be Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, Norway, Philippines, South Africa, United Kingdom, and the United States. “Research will begin in earnest in April with publication in September. The 38 countries submitting their action plan reports in April of 2012 will begin the IRM process later this year,” according to the OGP posting.

Countries will formally join OGP at a high-level meeting in London April 22-24 2013, when new participating governments endorse the OGP Declaration and deliver their country action plans. The high-level meeting will be followed by an additional meeting in late October 2013, the 2nd Annual High-Level Conference of the Open Government Partnership, in which governments, civil society organizations, private sector and other stakeholders gather for a lively exchange on open government practices and experiences.

Development   of a system for expert discussion of effectiveness of development and   implementation of socially and economically important decisions, taken by the   Government of the Russian Federation, government authorities of the   constituent entities of the Russian Federation and local government bodies.

 

Creation of a system for information disclosure about   drafts of legislative acts under development and the results of their public   discussion.
