"Top Gov 2.0 Project" Contest Winner

As you know, GovLoop teamed up with O'Reilly Media/UBM TechWeb to host a "Top Gov 2.0 Project" contest last week. You submitted a bunch of projects and cast hundreds of votes...but one project emerged victorious as the top vote-getter:

Here's how they were described in the contest:

"CitySourced is a real time mobile civic engagement tool, providing a free, simple, and intuitive tool empowering citizens to identify civic issues (graffiti, trash, potholes, etc.) and report them to city hall for quick resolution. They also provide an opportunity for government to use technology to save money and improve accountability to those they govern and it's a positive, collaborative platform for real action. It's called CitySourced since it empowers everyday citizens to use their smart phones to make their cities a better place."

As the top vote-getters, CitySourced will receive one ticket to the Gov 2.0 Expo coming up on May 25-27 in Washington, DC.
