Accessibility

the site is good with general accessibility. The accessibility page is a good model to base on. It includes several things that I like to see including the notice of why we do it. the Website policy and the city policy is listed in the same place. With a grievance procedure form on the same page.

Suggestion that the forms and applications be reviewed for accessibility.

Thanks for highlighting Durham, Steven. Let me know if you’d like me to hand-deliver your assessment to City Hall (or whoever manages the website). It’s just a couple miles away and I’d love to talk with them about the use of social media anyway.

In contrast, check out the Durham Bulls website, especially down the right side. 🙂

P.S. We’re also hosting a very cool event in October – the U2 Academic Conference – at North Carolina Central University….just days before the band comes in concert. “So we got that going for us….which is nice.” (- Caddyshack)

As far as it goes about showing it to them I am all good with that. I don’t think that you would be telling them something that they did not already know. The value of the informatioin comes from when you compare and contrast the information and start to build a Zietgiest or common vocabulary in city sites
