You have 3-4 activities to complete before the course launches the following week. Please be sure to complete these activities in advance.

Week 1: Orientation and The Path to Successful Implementation

Webinar: Tuesday, July 29 from 2p – 4p ET

Please plan two hours for the course kick-off.

Week 2: Describing the Innovation, Defining the Mission & Setting Goals

Webinar: Tuesday, August 5 from 2p – 3:30p ET

Upon completion of this lesson the learner will be able to define the terms champion and implementation team, list the expertise and interpersonal skills that would be needed for an implementation team and create goals and a mission statement for your innovation.

Week 3: Identifying the Target Audience

Webinar: Tuesday, August 12 from 2p – 3:30p ET

Upon completion of this lesson the learner will be able to define the terms commercialization, integration, implementation plan, differentiate between communication plan;and a marketing plan,define the term target audience, and create a description of the target audience for your innovation.

Week 4: Conducting Market Research

Webinar: Tuesday, August 19 from 2p – 3:30p ET

Upon completion of this lesson the learner will be able to define the terms; marketing, market research, and marketing strategy, and develop for your innovation: a market research approach

Week 5: Defining Opportunities/Obstacles, Strategies, and Tools/Tactics

Webinar: Tuesday, August 26 from 2p – 3:30p ET

Upon completion of this lesson the learner will be able to develop for your innovation: a list of potential obstacles and opportunities, marketing strategies, and budget/schedule considerations.

Week 6: Establishing Feedback Mechanisms and Monitoring Performance

Webinar: Tuesday, September 2 from 2p – 3:30p ET

Upon completion of this lesson the learner will be able to understand potential feedback mechanism to monitor performance, define the term performance measures, and develop performance measures that align with implementation plan goals.

Week 7: Integrating and Putting Your Plan Into Practice

Webinar: Tuesday, September 9 from 2p – 3:30p ET

Upon completion of this lesson the learner will be able to explain the purpose of integration, list how team members can continue to support execution of the plan, identify three types of implementation approaches and describe the change management process and its importance to implementing innovation.
