Esri Federal GIS Conference: Don’t Miss a Thing!

Have you ever gone to a conference full of exciting events and exhibits, but didn’t know where to start and found yourself feeling a little overwhelmed? Have you wanted to hear a panel discussion on a specific topic rather than a general session, or you wanted to find out which of the conference’s social events where right for you?

I once got turned around in a conference and ended up in the wrong breakout session, missing the one I was looking most forward to attending.

We’ve been highlighting some of the exciting sessions and events that will be offered at the Esri’s GIS Federal Conference that is coming to Washington in February, and you may have checked out the agenda for yourself. There are so many amazing speakers and topics being covered that you may need to make a conference agenda of your own!

Luckily, Esri has provided you an in depth agenda planner to make planning your conference schedule simple and stress free. With the agenda planner, you can search by day, topic, and type of session. You can even search for specific presenters that you may be interested in hearing from.

Which session are you most looking forward to?

The Esri Federal GIS Conference is taking place February 22-24 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in DC. Register today!

I’m excited about several different tracks – It is going to be hard to pick which sessions I’m going to attend. Off bat I’d like to hear some of the “Best Practices for Mission Applications”, “Open Government” and “Intergovernmental Collaborative Platform”…it’s going to be very informative I’m sure! I learned a lot at the Esri UC last year too!

Wow. There are some really great sessions being offered here! Are presenters/panel members mostly from ESRI or will there be government folk as well?

I want to go, but have to figure out a way to limit my expenses since management won’t send me 🙁 Any ideas on how to cut costs up there in DC? As it is I have to take the train to get there from Texas and use my annual leave!
