That is the point exactly. Once the people become “hooked” on handouts, bailouts, etc., there really is no stopping it. Look at Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, etc. Each of these programs were started to “help” us in some way. Once the people get used to having that help, they depend on it. The problem is that there are so many special groups with their hands out that eventually there won’t be anything left to give. The Declaration of Independence was written over far less than what we have going on right now. That document gives us the right to stop all of this…it won’t be easy, just like it wasn’t easy then.

If Thomas Jefferson were to arrive in our time period, he wouldn’t recognize this country. Just the fact that we pay taxes towards continued spending would send him into a rage. We are far away from where we started. 🙁 The only thing we can do now is get rid of all of them!
