I am new to this board and started looking for government jobs in December. I am very interested in this position and started my application. I have 13 years experience in Public Affairs and Communications. I was recently at Fannie Mae, until I lost my job in January. I am currently at The World Bank as a short-term consultant.
Do you have any suggestions on how I can stand out in my application? I have attended four workshops on "How to get a Federal Gov Job." And, I have worked with Kathryn Troutman. I am not having a lot of luck, so any advice would be appreciated.
I am very excited about working for the government. Thank you for your kind attention and help.
All the best,
