The Project Management Center for Excellence at the University of Maryland, College Park invites individuals and organizations to submit abstracts of interest to general and specialty project managers, consulting and design engineers, policy makers, agency personnel, researchers, educators, and students. This Call for Abstracts invites papers to be included in the program sessions for the 2015 Maryland Project Management Symposium to be held on June 8-9, 2015 in College Park at the University of Maryland.
Abstracts are sought in the following program and project management topic areas:

Case studies and lessons learned
Communications
Construction management
Disaster management: mitigation, resilience, response
Energy and the environment
Facilities management
Federal project management
Integrated Project Delivery

If your abstract is selected, you will be notified via e-mail on or before Monday, December 15, 2014. Below is a list of important deadlines for potential speakers.
September 15, 2014 – Call for papers opens
December 1, 2014 – Last day to submit your abstract
December 17, 2014 – Acceptance notifications released via e-mail
March 1, 2015 – Completed papers due and registration deadline for all speakers
May 4, 2015 – Completed presentations due
May 5, 2015 – Final program completedPlease note that all selected speakers will need to register for the two day symposium by March 1, 2015 at the speaker rate of $325.

I wrote a couple of great papers for my MBA in PM a couple of years ago. How long are the abstracts expected to be? My papers were 50 pages each and resources, both focused towards Federal Project Management
