The Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA) was enacted on December 19, 2014. It is designed to make agencies more accountable for IT acquisitions and deployment in order to reduce waste and abuse and improve IT development success rates. The Association for Enterprise Information’s (AFEI) Outcome Driven Government group is launching a symposium series on FITARA Implementation, providing IT, FM, EA, PM, Acquisition, and other Government leaders and their teams with the steps to successfully implement FITARA using an agile and outcome driven approach. The events will also cover the impact of FITARA to Government contractors. Join hundreds of attendees at the first FITARA symposium on June 30th from 7:30am – 12:00pm. Government registration is FREE; Early bird registration packages available to Government contractors and educators. For more information and register, go to: http://www.afei.org
