    Excellent opportunity for C-level executive with corporate or public sector experience.

    Oversees all financial operations, fiscal management and administrative programs for the County to ensure prudent accounting practices and compliance with rules, regulations and statutes. Directs budget administration including the preparation, implementation and execution of programs and initiatives. Balances the revenue from various sources within multiple budget cycles. Directs and coordinates the operations of debt management and bond sales. Ensures sufficient funding is available for non-profit commitments and debt service requirements. Analyzes and interprets complex financial and legal documents, assesses the impact on debt financing objectives, prepares modifications and negotiates the best advantage for the County. Maintains financial management reporting and information systems; manages the development and implementation of the in-house accounting system. Plans and directs the continuous review and analysis of fiscal operations, needs, and resources and proposes improvements including decreasing turnaround times, streamlining work processes and working cooperatively to provide customer service. Directs the preparation of financial statements, audit reports and internal accounting and administrative control systems. Confers with county officials, local, state, and federal auditors, and other representatives regarding fiscal and administrative management policies and controls.

    Salary $149,000 – $231,000
