    The new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) was created to make markets for consumer financial products and services work for Americans. CFPB is building a world-class Chief Financial Officer (CFO) organization; we are seeking to join a high performing team to develop and execute the strategic vision for office.

    The CFPB is currently recruiting for dedicated and committed Finance and Policy Analysts (Compliance, Governance, Policies and Procedures) within our CFO Office. Analysts will:

    • Coordinate, develop and maintain financial policies and procedures that impact budget, audits and other management functions and programs for CFO and CFPB.
    • Manage compliance with regulations and CFPB policies.
    • Monitor performance in responding to internal control issues and audit findings/recommendations.

    The ideal candidate will have significant depth and breadth of knowledge and experience in financial management and analysis. This individual will possess exceptional mental agility, and possess the flexibility to operate in a fast paced, multidisciplinary environment. The incumbent will be passionate about the CFPB mission, and revel in contributing to our important role. CFPB is seeking individuals with a relentless commitment to professional and organizational excellence.

    This position is eligible for a salary up to $187,800/year, and includes an outstanding benefits and retirement package. We will begin accepting submissions on March 17, 2012.
