Hi all! USDA is looking for exceptional applicants for a Contract Specialist position. Looking for someone who has a Masters, preferably business related, that is interested in coming into the Government working in contracting. Position starts as a GS-9. If you’d like to send me your resume I’ll hand-deliver it to the appropriate decision-making manager. Thanks.

    Hi Heather,

I am interested in transitioning into government in a contract specialist position. I have a Masters in Intercultural, Service, Leadership and Management but I focused most of my studies in business and organizational management (financial management, etc).

For the past five years I have been in the real estate industry as a Broker and Firm Owner. In that capacity I gained a great deal of experience in contracts. I’ve attached my resume for your convenience.

Thanks for Opportunity and Happy Thanksgiving!

    Hi Heather,

I am attaching a copy of my resume, as I am interested in a position as a CS GS-9 level, but I feel I am too seasoned, but you can judge for yourself.

    Thanks,
    Diane

    Hi Heather,

I’m throwing my hat into the ring as well. I do not have a master’s degree, but I have 7-years working at an Area Development District in Kentucky. My positions were (all at the same time) Homeland Security Coordinator, Economic Development Planner overseeing the regional economic development committee and preparation of the yearly CEDS document for EDA. I also worked with small bussiness development and still am a KY Certified CDBG writer and administrator.

My dealings with USDA are extensive: Gateway RC&D Charter member and Chairman to 4-H Extension Council President. I am very interested in this position….

I am sure the others will join me in saying, “THANKS, Heather for your help in this matter.”
