This is a superb opportunity for an extensively experienced and expert Contracts Manager.
This role is a key senior position within the business and offers full accountability for leading and developing our Contracts function across the Middle East and Africa. The role holder will be directly responsible for directing and managing all aspects of pre & post-award international contracting and sub-contracting activities with their clients and our company employees.
A Contracts professional, you will have extensive experience in Contracts Management and Administration with US Department of Defence, US Military and major defence contractors. You will demonstrate expert knowledge and understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Your experience will be supported by a degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration or Program Management. You will be DAWIA certified. A professional legal qualification is highly desirable.
You will serve as the subject matter expert on international contracts and subcontract agreements and will provide advice on complex requirements of the Requests for Proposals, contracts, and subcontracts, and provide continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met while identifying areas of risk.
The successful candidate will provide direction for interpretation and application of conditions, indemnities, liabilities and contract terms. You will provide contractual guidance to business team members for appropriate Statement of Work and you will manage contract change control process.
You will draft, negotiate and finalise contract documents with Contracting Officers to ensure consistency with the solicitation and proposal. You will prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, and modifications and will develop and integrate contract management tools, templates, and processes for the engagement.
You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, have a strong attention to detail and be able to adapt to rapid change in a positive manner whilst continuing to deliver to demanding timescales. Superb inter-personal skills and the ability to build instant credibility is essential as you will be interfacing with people of a range of nationalities and personalities.
