DHS Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) is making a national effort to reinvent the way the federal government conducts R&D through its new project, the National Conversation on Homeland Security Technology! This means that they want to help connect responders and operational users directly to industry, innovators, government, and citizens. Direct dialogue among these stakeholder groups presents an opportunity for innovators to learn about homeland security and public safety needs right from the source, and for responders/users to get needs directly into the hands of those who drive the market. Exciting technology developments occur every second…how can they be leveraged and adapted to help keep our communities and those who protect them safe and resilient?

Interact with responders and citizens about capability needs. Interact with industry representatives about opportunities for innovation. Ask questions. Provide insight. Help move things forward!
