    Working in the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality’s Water Division, this position works wit

    The successful candidate will have knowledge of state and federal regulations relating to the Clean Water Act and stormwater permitting; requirements, terms, and conditions of general stormwater
    permits issued by the department; basic water chemistry, pollutants in stormwater and potential impacts to surface water quality; and administrative requirements for obtaining coverage under AZPDES
    general permits; must have the skills to review and understand technical documents and regulatory language; strong technical writing and oral communication skills; and computer skills to effectively create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations; must also have the ability to track multiple projects and manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks and projects on time, and be able to read and
    understand laboratory data.

    Knowledge, skills, and ability can be acquired through a bachelor’s or masters degree from an accredited college or university or from prior work experience.
