    The incumbent will be responsible for:
    Field inspection, review and evaluation of complex regulatory requirements found in environmental permits and other regulations dealing with wastewater treatment and other facilities regulated under the Aquifer Protection Program (APP) or the Arizona Pollution Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES); for meeting or exceeding requirements regarding field inspection and compliance and enforcement provisions of the agency’s Compliance and Enforcement Policy; for investigating assigned complaints related to regulated and non-regulated facilities, the determination of facility compliance status, the subsequent drafting of accurate and concise inspection reports, drafting of enforcement documents to include warning letters, notices of corrections, notices of violations and internal case referral documents as necessary for management review and approval in conformance with departmental policy; for compliance with program inspection targets and associated milestones according to departmental policies and for the timely communication of relevant compliance and enforcement issues to the unit supervisor, and other unit staff within the section as appropriate to ensure overall program plan goals are met.
