(Freelance) Instructional Design Specialist
Are you passionate about the future of learning? Excited about innovative learning approaches like flipped classrooms, hybrid online/in-person programs, new learning methodologies and bite-sized learning? Do you love sites like Khan Academy, Skillshare, eLearning Guild, and EdSurge?
We are looking for a few good freelance instructional design specialists to help grow a brand new initiative: GovLoop Academy. As the premiere knowledge network for government, GovLoop is packed with learning content – over 50 research guides, thousands of blog posts, and hundreds of webinars that have been taken by over 60,000 members in the last few years.
We are looking for folks to help us build dozens of courses for GovLoop Academy via remixing this existing content and bringing in relevant outside materials to create practical, actionable learning to improve government.
WHY WORK WITH US:
Real cutting-edge work that will be used by thousands right away.
Easy to work with, action oriented team. You’ll get clear directions to run. No suffering from being pulled in many directions.
Treat you with respect – competitive rates, no B.S. on invoicing.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
Convert recorded webinars into creative and compelling online learning experiences.
Research GovLoop and other websites to bring in additional relevant learning program content.
Develop slide decks and other digital training materials.
YOU WOULD THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU ARE:
Fast, deadline-driven, and reliable.
Able to create structured small learning experiences out of longer content.
All about clean, crisp design.
Proficient in multimedia/e-learning packages such as the Adobe eLearning Suite (Captivate, Presenter, Flash, Storyline, etc.)
Proficient in creating and editing images and audio in Adobe Photoshop, Audition, Illustrator, Fireworks, and/or similar software packages.
