In this occupation you may supervise, lead, or perform work on a variety of complex equipment and systems or create new concepts and uses for material, hardware, and software products. You may be responsible for developing and testing new equipment or material that significantly adds to the operability and usefulness of existing or new systems. You may also be consulted on specific technical aspects of systems, construction, or concept development of portions of large-scale projects or on entire projects.
