Last week, Steph Gray introduced all of us to Mike Bracken, the new Executive Director for Digital for the UK Government.

Well, just as you gave advice to Chris Vein when he started as the new Deputy CTO for Innovation at the White House, we’d like to ask you to do the same for Mr. Bracken.

    Some options:

1 – Focus on making Alpha.UK.gov as extraordinary and valuable as possible.

2 – Consolidate and coordinate the various players involved in “Open UK” (see Steph’s post above, next to last paragraph for context).

3 – Enhance Data.UK.gov so it can avoid the same fate as its US cousin, Data.gov.

    What are your ideas?
