Do you have a great, innovative idea that will help federal Chief Information Officer Vivek Kundra leverage Web 20 technologies for a better, faster, more responsive government? If so, you could win a new I-Pod Shuffle from GovStation!

    Here’s how it works:

Submit your innovative Gov 20 idea at Keep it short, simple, and specific. Avoid overly technical jargon. It also helps to have a short, descriptive title.

    You can submit multiple ideas.

You must be a registered GovStation member and submit your entries using your GovStation user name.

You have 2 weeks to submit ideas (ends June 3).

Out of all the ideas submitted, GovStation will select 5-10 to be voted on by you and your peers during a 1 week period. Public comments made in the forum praising or critiquing individual ideas may influence GovStation’s selection of finalists.

You can vote only once, but you can encourage your colleagues and friends to vote for your idea. You do not need to be a registered user to vote!

    What we’re looking for:
A new policy, project, or program that leverages Web20 technologies, networking, or data mashing to create an improved function of government. It can be for procurement, government transparency, federal recruitment and hiring – just about anything that involves the use of technology but is currently in need of some creative solutions. Your innovation can be the modification of an existing regulation/rule/ law, a new use of existing technology or data, an entirely new Gov 20 initiative, or something else entirely. The field is wide open!

    Good Luck!
