    Federal Agencies seeking to broadcast their advisory boards and other
    open meetings via the web. By leveraging streaming video, social media
    websites, and new media innovations, Granicus helps the federal
    government achieve greater transparency, participation, and
    collaboration.

    Objective:


    Drive new business into the Executive Branch of the US Federal Government


    Deliverables:

    • Drive aggressive sales cycle from lead to close for Federal Executive Branch Agencies
      • Reach and exceed monthly revenue targets
      • Maintain a high level of prospect meeting activity by partnering with assigned Account Development Rep
    • Develop ongoing pipeline of opportunities through outbound sales activities
      • Relationships
      • Partners
      • Online Presentations
      • In-Person Demonstrations
      • Outbound Calling and written communication
      • Conferences
    • Work with other company teams within Sales and outside of Sales to deliver proposals, responses, and pilots
    • Actively manage and report to the VP, Enterprise Account Sales on the pipeline, status of your prospect base, and forecast revenues
      • Particularly by collecting and storing data in our CRM, Salesforce.com
    • Collecting data from the field, communicating, and looping back marketplace requirements to the organization

    Experience:

    • Intelligent software/technology sales performer with successful government federal marketplace experience.
    • 5+ yrs Experience with helping Federal Agencies purchase software and services through GSA Schedules and other purchasing vehicles utilized by the Federal Government
    • 5+ yrs as a sales champion, national account manager, sales leader or strategic account specialist
    • 5+ yrs in the following industries (at least 3 of the 4)
      • Enterprise Web applications
      • Social Media Websites and New Media Technologies
      • Streaming Video applications
      • Federal Government Software
    • Experience in communication and loop back of marketplace requirements to manager
    • Consultative Solutions-Orientation; able to craft and communicate a complex value proposition.
    • Experience running a business with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.com
    • Experience calling and meeting with C level executives within government entities
    • Work in a team or partner environment to effectively deliver sales
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office System applications

    Travel:

    • All prospecting will be done in the Washington DC Metro Area, with about 10% travel to San Francisco Headquarters

    Compensation:

    • First Year – On Target Earnings of $117,000 ~90K base + 450K in sales bookings
    • Non-Rookie Years would pay ~$180K
